Well it was slightly more eventful than the first race. Owing to Lance Stroll’s crash (more on that below) we did have a few extra variables thrown in the mix compared to Bahrain and (shock!), Max didn’t lead for a few laps.
Still its hard to shake the feeling that the season really needs a push to get going, whether its anticipation for 2025’s big driver move or the lack of time between the end of last year and the start of this (as will be the norm with so many races), F1 2024 is lacking a little juice.
That doesn’t distract from the twenty drivers below still needing to do their jobs, we had one star cameo from young Ollie Bearman which really indicates that the grid needs to find a way to get the best young talents out there (an extra team? cough* Andretti cough*), that’s where this sports true talents lay.
